TEACHING:
We don't just refer to the Bible to justify our opinion. We teach
the Bible, making it practical to everyday life.
PREACHING:
God's Word is intended to be preached (II Timothy 4:2). That
is what Jesus did and instructed the apostles and then pastors
to do also. God has promised to bless the PREACHING of His
Word to "save them that believe". (I Corinthians
1:18-21)
Children's
Ministry: We care about children. Where in
society can they learn the basics for faith in Christ? We have
a nursery, toddlers, children's church and junior church
programs running during the services where boys and girls are
cared for and taught the Bible stories.
SUNDAY
SCHOOL: This is an in-depth learning time for all
ages with two adult classes, college & career, teen, and
children's classes broken down by age and taught by capable
and caring, proven teachers.
MISSIONS
OUTREACH: A significant part of our weekly
offerings goes toward the support of several missionaries
scattered throughout the world preaching the Gospel and
planting churches.
BIBLICAL
COUNSELING MINISTRIES: We believe in the
sufficiency of Scripture. Whether a problem is personal,
domestic or corporate, the Bible leads us to workable
solutions.
AWANA:
Awana Club is a weekly program for boys and girls (ages 3-12)
held during the school year. Not only it is "fun";
qualified leaders provide children with training that stresses
strong moral and spiritual values while emphasis is placed on
games, awards, uniforms, the importance of God's Word and
Bible memorization. Kids (and parents) love AWANA!
SONSHINE
CLUB: A well-structured program designed to
establish Biblical truths in young hearts and minds.
YOUTH
MINISTRY: Teenagers need spiritual guidance to face
today's pressures. We have a Word of Life teen club for gym,
social activities and Bible study. The teen ministry is a
year-round program designed to help reach teens.
BIBLE INSTITUTE: We offer classes for credit to
those who wish to prepare for the ministry, as well as those
who wish to further their understanding of the Bible and the
work of the ministry.
WOMEN'S
MEETINGS: Several times a year there is a Saturday
featuring a guess speaker and special activities. There are a wide
variety of topics presented with a focus on spiritual
encouragement. We usually have two retreats a year.
MEN'S
MEETINGS: "Men Under Construction" series.
Usually the second Saturday of each month. Every year we have a
"Fishing Trip" retreat.
SPORTS
& RECREATION: We have men's softball in the
summer, ice hockey and mixed volleyball in the winter to help
people get to know one another in the spirit of friendship.
